Grande Punto Gearbox Oil
Discussion
Took my Fiat Grande Punto (petrol 1.4 Dynamic) to a local garage yesterday to diagnose a problem I was having with the gearbox.
They discovered that I had just under a third of the recommended amount of gearbox oil, and so drained it and topped it back up.
I have only just noticed however, that they've used 75w-90 oil, as opposed to 75w-85 as recommended in the handbook/Opie Oils.
Is this going to have a detrimental effect on the workings of the gearbox and should I ask them to put the correct grade in?
