So, ive been reading around at quick diesel cars and this popped up:

Did it ever get sold in this country? Cant say ive seen or heard of them before?!!?

It was just a concept to show off the paint job and the engine. They did a SL400 CDI at the same show. I think the SLK was driven by Car magazine. No diesel SLK or SL. Yet. No doubt the next generation of each will have an oil burner and no doubt that will be the one everybody buys.

There is definately a diesel SLK in the forthcoming line up ; not sure of the full spec though at this stage , but should be worth a look

Its about time merc outdid audi/bmw in the diesel sector !!
