was looking for info on the rear bumper of the st tdci mondeo and have seen a few posts referring to fitting some foam pads under the rear light clusters to help close the gap between bumper and lights, any info on fitting them or even where to get a set would help, thanks in advance

Ford no longer make nor stock them. Only option now is the remove lower trim & drill holes method of repair.

Isn't duct tape the repair of choice for all Mondeo bumpers? It seems that everyone I see is covered in the stuff.

FMC Legally obligated to produce spares for a minimum of 10 years before deleting from production however the item may well be on back order but FMC are not allowed to delete production of items until 10 years have lapsed latest car to be impacted by this is the Focus RS Mk1 with loads of items on back order like bumpers and body panels

That is what I read on another forum, can't say I checked as I did my car as soon as it was delivered! Must admit I thought the same as /\ where they have to make spares for 10 years, only I guess they have done that seeing as the Mk3 was released in 2000 IIRC? It wasn't just one person saying they couldn't get them. Do you have the FINIS? I'll compare to what I got.

Same as what I got, god knows what all these people having troube are doing! Maybe they do not realise they are listed as Zetec S parts?
