Cape Verde Islands. Visa Requirements.
Discussion
Me and Mrs Blib are travelling to the Cape Verde Islands this coming June. Due to another friend's wedding which has dictated the dates that we can travel, we've had to book independently, rather then go on a package tour.
And, therein lies the rub. Package tours from the likes of Thompsons include visas in the price. As we've only booked flights, we have to arrange our own.
The Embassy that covers vias to Cape Verde is in Brussels. Apparently, one of us will either have to travel over there for the day to get the relevant paperwork sorted out. Or, we shall have to trust the Royal mail to eliver and retrieve our passports.
The "Consulate" in Liverpool has closed down. I can see no other option.
Has anyone been in our position? How did you obtain your visas?
Thanks.

For a visa to kenya, I posted my passport to London - no big deal - you can always get another passport if it get's lost. Ask your Post office what options there are for registered post abroad. otherwise get on tripadvisor to see if you can get a visa on arrival - you usually can in poorer countries where visa entry is a tax, not a way of restricting who (apart from poor people) gets to come in.
