Morning track sessions at the ring

Afternoon all,

I know with all that's going a bit on there, and without a calendar being released it's too early to plan. But I remember from before that some organisers offered morning only track sessions at the ring, possibly for only an hour or two? Being slightly weary of the TF sessions, and I don't believe I have the talent or the car to get the most out of a full track day, these morning sessions seem like a good idea.

Trouble is I can't remember as to who organises these, and google isn't providing to be much help.

Does anybody have any links or recommendations?

Would also like some info on this if anyone can enlighten me? Cant get insurance for the TF and im not sure if I/the Cup is up to a full day on the 'Ring, so a morning, or even a couple of hours where I can get full cover would be perfect for me.

RSR used to do them sometimes but afaik they are banned from the Ring at the moment.

Probably I missed something, but I don't recall anything like that, certainly nothing regular.
What they do have are morning sessions on the upper 2/3 of the GP circuit. There will be one of those every Friday morning before a VLN race (10x/yr).

Ah to be fair, I've only seen it the once and it was about 3 or 4 years ago now. Basically before the TF session started one saturday morning there were dozens of minis bombing around the track. It may have been only for half an hour or so, but I assumed that this may have been a more regular arrangement.

Certain German companies have offered half days (9am to 2pm) in the past but no one has any dates for the 2011 season yet although I'm hoping to make an announcement in the next few days.

I believe once negotiations with the Industry Pool are concluded we'll all know what dates are left for TF/TDO's
