AJP 8 Logo / graphic

Have been thinking about having the AJP 8 logo graphic on my air boxes as many a people have asked me, "is that the rover engine" i haven't been able to find any photo's or graphics on Google, so have had a go at replicating the only one i found on the air boxes of a prototype car. Have i got it right?

Was thinking high temp vinyl as for colour not sure, i have the Act carbon airboxes, so any suggestions.

Nice work, but I think it may look a bit cheep on the air-box's IMHO... unless you can get the backing to match your carbon look, or just have the AJP8 without the black background?

Noooo - Cheap and Tacky. A Cerbera is rare and classy. If they think it's a Rover engine, they sure as hell won't have a friggin clue what AJPV8 means.

I wouldnt use the logo I made as it was just an example of the logo. But wasn't sure about putting them in there. But think I'll leave them be. After all the weave is rather sexy by itself

If they don't know that the Cerb never had the RV8, they don't need an enormous sticker telling them it isn't.

If they dont know from the sound that its a flat plane crank blah blah blah then refuse to engage them ever again.

The non-car people I know (the ones who drive 911's, XKRs and such like) often ask me if my exhaust is blowing. The engine tone isnt something they understand technically or emotionally. I smile and confirm to them they have just confirmed that their veins arent filled with v power.

It's funny that you say that Gazza as in the summer (yep believe it or not we did have one), i was driving through the Blackwall Tunnel and a young-ish chap (similar are to myself) pulled up next to me in a convertible Boxster Speedster and started looking at me all confused - the Cerb was popping and banging like a goodun` at this stage. Then he gave me a very disappointing shake of the head at witch point i gave the loud peddle a real good urgent poke and promptly scared the bejesus out of him !
