FLying plod over Owlsmoor / Sandhurst.

Had flying plod overhead for the last hour or so, searching the ground with a searchlight, has searched my local area and also a lot of Heathland between Owlsmoor and Broadmoor.
Assuming it's not an escapee from Broadmoor as no sirens.... anyone know whats occurring?

I saw that last night on my way home, I was going to post up a 'UFO' spotted as it looked really strange from a distance but when I got home (Crowthorne) you could hear the helicopter!

From what i heard from the TVP lot you get called out quite a bit? It seems odd that Surrey doesn't use your skills?

There is a Surrey group being setup as we speak - but will take a few months to get operational. I was at their launch meeting last wednesday night at Surrey police HQ in Guildford

But we do get called out on occasions to support neighbouring areas - Surrey, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, etc, etc.
