I ran over a blimmin big bolt today, which is now sticking out of the centre of one of my rear tyres! It truly is a whopper, and I'm not sure why the tyre didn't go pop. Bit gutted, as I was really enjoying myself under the sun today!
Anyway, I put the skinny space-saver on (mental note to keep space-saver in the boot, as this couldn't have been sorted with tyre-weld) but now need to get new rears... and quick, as I've noticed they're both way beyond legal across the centre part! Hadn't noticed that til now.
I've seen that there's a Black Circles fitting place just down the road from me, and SO3's are about £148 fitted (a lot compared to some of the PHers quotes). Does anyone know if they're likely to stock 245x45x16s, or will I have to call them to order some?
