V8 race series launched

Hi there - new to this forum - but thought I would let you know about a new V8 race series which was launched late last year and at the Autosport Show - it's the STR Cup. The Autosport Show saw the Team exhibit the first race VXR V8 built in Europe by Shawn Taylor Racing. Anyhow, if anyones interested check out our website! Thanks

Welcome to the site. First of all it would of been better to put this in the motorsport section. Second dont understand how a vxr corsa, astra and vrx8 compete against each other and hope you get good healthy grids and not grids in the low 20s or less than 10 this country doesnt need another series to reduce car grids apart from that good luck hope it works out.

They don't, which part of it being a 'V8' series did you miss? When did you last see a Corsa or Astra V8 (apart from a You Tube special?)

It's a VXR8 - In other words, it's a Holden Commodore!

This is what is said on the website.
The STR Cup, inspired by the legendary Australian V8 Supercars is a new exciting series which will see Vauxhall VXR Corsa's and VXR Astra's competing head-to-head alongwith the VXR V8 (the Aussie V8 Supercar) in this one make series.

So will all three compete in the same race but in diffrent classes.
