Thinking of selling (not what you think).....

I've just come back on here for the 1st time in about 5 months, having become a very proud father in September.

As time marches on (with "Mrs Olly" on maternity leave, and the Cerb not being used) the thought of selling it has been on my/our mind.

However, rather than sell the car, and then probably never have another on, and certainly not one we know as well, I was thinking about selling the plate (C13ERA) to free up some pennies.

I was offered £2500 7? years ago by a Chimaera driver (while in stationary traffic on the M25 of all paces !), but politely declined.

Just wondered what people might think it's worth, or indeed if anyone might be interested in buying it !

I would have thought that your service station offer was very good. As a car specific plate I would expect its value to fall alongside vehicle values.

I would hunt the man down and accept....cant see that fetching more than £1000 absolute tops. Its only worth what someone is willing to pay. The reg is only really for Cerb owners and Im sure 95% of them would spend the money else where on the car.

Good luck though, maybe Ebay least then you advertise to everyone..
