No point in buying a porsche

Plus a 200bhp cooper s is going to trouble a lot of cars.
A standard r53 cooper s is a quick car in it's own right, holds it's own against the hot hatch crowd on a twisty road, so bung it another 40bhp and a driver who knows where he's going and you'll be surprisingly quick.
Porsche guys didn't look overly confident, may early laps for them in cars they don't want to stuff into the Armco.

Really bad track manners by the JCW driver, not impressed at all.
They didnt have any appreciation whatsoever for the capabilities of the Porsche or the fact the drivers were obviously inexperienced hence why he nearly caused an accident a couple of times. At 1:36 for example he nearly stuffs it into the back of the Porsche, too close, doesnt appreciate the braking capability of the Porsche and didnt anticipate the driver was going to overbrake as they are novices.
Porsche should have got the hell out the way but two wrongs dont make a right.

Well, conclusive proof that there really is no point in buying a porsche then. Thanks, I'll stop looking forward to the day when I can afford a 997 GT3 (natural competitor to a jcw mini) and instead I'll sell my 996 and buy a mini. Obvious really innit. As "in the real world" (as seen here) its much quicker.
Not wanting to overstate the obvious, but you could put a racing driver in kia ceed and me in my 911, give me a couple of minutes head start and I'd still look like I was going down to the shops in comparison.
