MK6 VW Golf Heater

Quick question for any one with a mk6 golf, I picked up my new 1.6 tdi match on sunday, it has manual air con, so far i've done 300 mile in the last week but i've noticed when going round a left hand bend it give a blast of cold air out of the vents. is this a design quirk or is it warranty issue.
