i watched paranormal activity last night and wasnt really scared. everyone told me it was the scariest movie ever, there were a couple of moments that made me jump but no sleepless night.

i'm 32 so ive watched all the classic freddy, jason films, anyone know of a truly scary movie.

Breeders...... Samantha Janus attempting an American accent is spine-chillingly scary

...but isn't.

Rec was good but I still get freaked out by The Grudge.

I thought 'The Fourth Kind' pretty good (but not really good), and I'm fussy about scary films.

Rec (or the English remake Quarantine if you don't like subtitled films, but it's not as good).

The Grudge (again, original better than the remake)

Ringu (same again)

Just bought this today in a charity shop smile Remember watching it in a little indie cinema and it genuinely freaking me out so fancied seeing it again. Good recommendation.
