exhaust question

Hi all
fitted new front pipe today but it is very close to the bottom pulley
cant remember how it was before will it all move together its about 1/4 on an inch
away going to try to put up a photo

What state are your engine mounts in?
How far away from the bottom of the sump is the anti roll bar?
If they are sagging you might find its touching or very close.

is there enough room to change belts?

there wont be much adjustment as the front pipes are connected to the manifolds and they are fixed to the engine

Yep agree with that - but the lower the engine drops if the centre exhaust mount is fixed there will still be some pipe flexing with it coming closer to the engine.

think i will have to try to get it bent
a bit more its not quite the same as the old
one will phone ACT tomorrow see what they say
also thinking about a single pulley can you get
such a thing

I understand the front pulley is such a "lump" because it forms part of the crank balance along with the flywheel, V6's being naturally unbalanced by design ?
looks bit naff with all those spare grooves I agree but maybe best left alone ?

OK don't want make work for myself
will try to change pipe or give up with
it and put old one back on
