250mm KItchen Gadget required
Discussion
We are currently re-doing the kitchen and due to dodgy original builders now have a 250mm gap between two wall units. We could get a wider unit and have a 'tray space' but seen as we have a few gadgets going in, does anyone know of any good gap fillers? Anything considered as we can easily get power and/or water to the space.
Thanks

Hope the gap hasn't just appeared or you have some serious movement problems!
You could bridge the space at the top with a matching piece of timber with a downlighter in it, lighting up two or three glass shelves with some bits and bobs on them. Other than that I can only think of some sort of wine rack maybe.

Its a tiny, arse sized kitchen, so once the corner unit is where it needs to be (roughly, in the corner!) and the fridge is in the only place it will go, we are left with a gap of 250mm. All the old cabinets had been chopped and generally bodged to make them fit. We wondered why nothing stanard fitted.
See he got in there first!

We already have a wine cooler going in the 150mm gap at the bottom so was trying to avoid another rack but it seems that it is going to be a wine rack or sheving of some sort.
The boiler idea is a good one but it would still need to be built into a cupboard so it looks right which Mr XL isn't quite so keen on after bespoke the rest of the units.

It wasn't THE KITCHEN budget in the first place! It was THE CARS budget!!!!!! Just remember that, as granite worktops can wait an awfully longtime! Get used to varnished MDFn and put the kettle on I'm thirsty!
