Mind you, I saw approx 10 convertibles on the way in this morning and only one other (than myself) had the roof off, and that was a Boxster.
Guilty as charged. In my defence, your Fishness, there was no room in the boot for a roof bag let alone the roof itself!
Must make more effort in the packing department in future - although at 6.30 in the morning the tendency is to lob the stuff in any way it falls.
You stand your ground, Ian!
In 50,000 miles I know I have covered quite a few with the roof on when it should have been in the boot (and a few the other way round
). It isn't always convenient 'cos of what you have in the boot, or it's only a five minute run, or I've just done my hair.....
It's just a bit embarassing at times when other Tivvers see you

Have to agree with the comment about short journeys - I can't be bothered to take the roof off for the run in to work each day. Perhaps I should ask Mrs Fish to take another couple of hundred cases into consideration while she is in such a lenient mood

Quite agree.
Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle taking the roof off. Often it's because it is either a short run or because I'm running late and don't want to spend the time needed to take the roof off at the start of the journey and back on at the end.
