She was so desperate to give the great performance of the Black Swan that she went a bit mental and in the end almost/did kill herself. She was paranoid about the other girl and obviously had halluications about attacking her.
thats pretty much it.

I watched Black Swan last night with the other half.
Well, it is a melodramatic and pretentious waste of film for gays and women who enjoy duping themselves into a belief they are cultured by watching overacted pantomime rubbish like this. But because it is about ballet and a loss of sanity in someone suffering for their ‘art’ then it will clean up at the Oscars.
Avoid.
Saying that the two standout mucky scenes were a nice break from the swooning, painfully camp ‘misery’.

Awful film. Just glad that I didn't pay to watch it....[walks off whistling]
I couldn't shake Peter Griffin shouting "Shut up Meg" in my ear when watching it.
But I thought it was a very good film. The Natalie Portman character's breakdown seemed believeable, with things starting to be imagined, and then imagined things appearing to become real, and then there being great confusion between what's real and what's imagined.
