Quick tip for any folk replacing oil (gearbox/diff mainly, by would also apply to engine oil) is to microwave it for a couple of minutes before pouring it in to the car.

Of couse, I knew that the viscosity would change with temperature, but I was impressed at how much easier it went in. I was a little hesitant to do it and thought others might be too. thumbup

The first one i was worried about, but after checking it each minute, i was happy that it was warm enough after about 3 minutes on 700W. I did it five times so it works with no problems.

Just done tonights dinner in the mike and looking good!

Sticking it in a bucket of hot water might be a handy idea for avoiding such risks smile

Oil never lasts me long enough to need to melt it to get it in to the engine. I just pour it in when the dipstick tells me it needs some. It will melt it as it burns it and chucks it out of the exhaust. hehe

No it doesn't have foil on the bottle, or anywhere else wink

It has an extendable neck for filling.
