Newbie. We ordered a 111s back in Feb and on sat i finally picked it up!
And what a day! the very nice man at JCT600 Lennie Bell (please mention Dinesh if you ever do any dealing with him) came to the train station to pick me and my wife in a shocking yellow maserati. When we got to the showroom they had the Ferrari Enzo!!!!! He moved the ropes which surrounded the car, wow!
Then it was back to our car. We drove out the show room. The looks we got .amazing. we drove down the A roads back to leicester, resisting pushing it.
Has anyone got any tips on the first few weeks of onwership, the do's and don't

Just finished running mine in, hard to resist the power that's available but stick with it. Remember; make sure the engine is fully warmed up before giving it any work to do, reving a cold engine kills it quicker than anything. Also don't put the miles on just by cruising at 70 in top. The point of running in is to make the engine work gently through the gears. I was also told that once warmed up properly the odd blip beyond the 3000/4500 rev limits is not harmfull and may help ensure no ridges build up at the top of the cylinders. Don't overdo it though as your ECU records your actions and the dealer could invalidate your warranty if the download shows you've been over enthusiastic!
And finally....after that first service...I was staggered by the pick up in torque and power from 5000 rpm upwards, absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to get it on the track as I think I'm frightening too many other road users with the banshee howl from the Janspeed round the lanes of Hertfordshire.
