I know every one has their preference but i say a car can suit or be associated with its colour, Ferraris = red, Lambourghini's = white, Mercedes = Silver, BMW = Black etc etc,. What colour should be associated with a TVR? Personally i would say red but im biased.

Personally I always think a "bright RED sports car" is a real cliche.

As for TVR, any bright lary colour seems appropriate...

I also love it in red, but probably a little biased as well.

But I think maybe WHITE is becoming the new red. No plans on a respray though

As 'TVR Team' colours are purple for the most part (going with your suggestion of the Ferrari and Mercedes racing colours) then I'd suggest the purple/blue colours would be TVR colours.

I still like Blue.
I think Tiv's actually suit any colour as long as there is a contrast in colour of the interior, just think there all out standing.

BRG is a colour that suits all classics but i think the TVR is the only car that looks good in any colour..My favourite is a sky blue or a deep red..And as said if the interior is done right it will compliment the colour..

the only color which is a no-go on a Tasmin is red.

a wedge shaped car, with its "brutalism" in the design, driven by real men can´t be red.

red is the color of the lipstick from the lady who may be allowed to sit on the passenger side!!! if she is ugly she better stays at home in front of the kettle.

YELLOW

TVR are one of the few cars that actually suit yellow IMHO
AND virtually all TVRs look great in yellow

Would love to change my Mica Blue 400 to Yellow

The one exception in yellow TVRs is the Saggy which looks even better in Orange

Cheers
Trickie

Yeah - you can't beat a yellow wedge with yellow colour-coded wheels - takes me back to the '80's.
