Those back seats!!

I'm not on here to poke fun... but, has anyone actually squeezed 4 grown adults in to a Cerb?
I like the Cerb but everytime I look in to one through the back window I almost laugh out loud at the state of the back seats. Is there even room for small children in there?

I've had one person squeezed in behind the passenger before. Wouldn't use it again unless its literally to take a mate down the road.

I've tried to get in the back myself and its not even the lack of leg space thats a problem but the lack of head room, you have to angle your head to one side the whole journey!

Its a 3+1. Push the passenger seat forward and you can fit a 5ft 5 blonde in the back plus a 5ft 7 brunette in the front.
Kids are ok in the back but the drivers seat needs to be fwd to get the legs in once they are over 18 months old. Once they get to 6 yrs old they wont fit anymore unless dad is below 5ft 6 with short legs.

Yeah it's a bit of a squash, but I've been out with four 4 up a few times, they are generally happy to crushed just to have a ride in a cerb! You just put the girls in the back & blokes in the front. Don't take fat friends out though or they will have to get out for every speed bump...

Kids are no problem at all they fit in just fine, you do have to drive round for ages till all there friends have seem them in their though

Went to the pub 4-up in a mate's Cerb once. After 1/2 a mile the smell of melting rubber made him stop and look at the rear tyres rubbing their way through the arches. He walked most of the way while I drove the rest of us

OK, I'm 5' 7", have the seat all the way forward. My youngest (now 13) is just over 5 foot and that's about the limit for long journeys, but I've squeezed (more like squashed) 3 other adults into the car and we've travelled 14 miles to a footy match. Not much fun for anyone.

as Clarkson said fifteen years ago.. first tvr to fit the family man, but only if you've defied science and managed to give birth to a couple of hamsters.

quite a few times, but they happened to be thin and flexible and for not too long a journey. Think the longest was for an hour and they were both relieved to get out and stretch their legs!

we did attempt to have 2 quite large people in the back once, for a tunnel run but the back wheel arch kept hitting the tyre! so we had to off load one of them into another cerbera
Also to add both myself and the driver are not that tall so we have the seat pushed all the way forward.

We also have 2 daughters that fit quite happily in the back, ages 8 & 10 and have been in the car on long journeys with no problems.

Another problem is the seat bases are so short that they cut off the blood supply to the legs. So if an adult survives the journey they will be a cripple when they arrive.

My son's 6 foot 1 and been in the back, his knees are by his chest and his head is on the roof so it's not great.

I have also had 2 teenage girls in when we took a group of youngsters to a prom night. Being shorter, that was OK but somewhat difficult in the flowing dresses.

As posted above, the passenger seat has a good degree of travel so you can get 3 in.

The rear seats are not good for anyone tall, wide or claustrophobic and I doubt would be good for a long trip.

When I first got my Cerb I trialled a 4 up manoeuvre to prove a point. Me driving, Mrs Fubes squished behind me, mate front passenger and his girlfriend behind him. Luckily for me my mates g/f a) couldn't work out the best position and went for the 'legs either side of the seatback' option and b) was wearing a skirt but not any knickers

Often do the family outing with the Fubelings installed in the back (at 6 & 8 it hasn't been a problem so far)

Yes i've managed it. Thankfully we wasn't actually going that far at the time so i just pulled my seat forward a couple of clicks. It was fairly snug in there though !

I spent 4 hours in the back of a Cerb during the Le Mans parade a few years back. At 6'2" it was a bit of a squash, it was bloody hot - but at least the owner (and driver) is only about 5'6" (Lake).

The Xllifts took it in turns to ride in the back of mine at LeMans last year... I'm glad I was driving!
