Regents Park area of Southampton

Does anyone know if anything is going on in the Regent's Park area of Southampton that would result in so many houses going up for sale recently?

We're househunting round there and can't understand the frankly worrying volume of (nice!) houses that have just gone on the market in Munro Crescent and surrounding area. Google has not revealed any secrets despite repeated prods.

I think they have just opened a halfway house for registered sex offenders released from prison in Munro Crescent.

A lot of the places round there were bought with "self certs". Their chickens are coming home to roost. If you've got the capital, you could bag yourself a bit of a bargain .
