After sinking 100s of hours into Oblivion, I very nearly exploded when I heard about Skyrim, so, any other Elder scrolls players, what do you want to see in Skyrim?
I'm hoping for more fluid combat with Fallout's dismemberment biggrin

I'm hoping for less broke game mechanics...

I lvoe the elder scroll games but that is despite (in a lot of cases) the combat and leveling systems.

Can't wait for this, only thing I don't want is anything resembling VATS as it would totally ruin the game.

Loved Oblivion but Fallout bored me, I really hope they keep it an Eldar scrolls game and no Vats or anything like it.

This is the game I am most looking forward to this year. I have lost hundreds of hours of my life to Oblivion.

I'm a great Oblivion fan and really like Fallout, Fallout is like Oblivion but with guns didn't like the add on to Oblivion though despite trying to like it. I'll check out this new game.

I would like a multiplayer that resembles Fable or something, where you can create your own kind of weapons and then sell them to other players

I absolutely loved Morrowind - probably my favourite game ever, so I was looking forward to Oblivion in a big way. I definitely enjoyed it, but not even in the same ballpark as Morrowind so consequently I really can't get myself particularly worked up for this one. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong!

Unfortunatly I dont think that will be the case, it looks like its been simplified even more from oblivion let alone Morrowind.

Been a fan of this series since daggerfall..now that was a huge game... 62,000 square miles I've read, some of the cities were almost the size of many game worlds these days and there were hundreds of them...it was all randomly generated and a bit samey though

Really looking forward to skyrim though..this and fallout are my favourite game series

I read the developers could either give us randomly loading... everything, or map it out, manually. Except for foliage which was randomly generating.

Oblivion was roughly 40 square miles. I believe Skyrim is 50% bigger at 60 square miles(or kilometres, whichever).

Really looking forward to the game. No more choosing a class in advance, players are rewarded by practising skills. New engine, better graphics, further draw distances, dragons and a much more random experience, with a less scripted approach to completing missions.

What I like most, is the fact that creatures in Skyrim dont level up with you. And that the further you travel (presumably away from where you start) the more difficult the enemies become. And if you find/win/earn/create a powerful weapon, you'll feel more powerful using it. Unlike the mud crabs from Oblivion which seemed to grow every more powerful the more you played. The thrill is gone, when you know that no enemy in the game is impossible to defeat if you approach them correctly.

Much prefer the new/different visuals and artwork on Skyrim too!

Definitely looking forward to Skyrim biggrin

I was trying to avoid these threads, I can't wait and this is making it worse!

I loved Morrowind and Oblivion. I hope Skyrim will take the best aspects from both. November 11th is the date!
