Well I've got an Explorer II already so that's out. I never (in my limited knowledge) considered the Milgauss as nice as it is as a sports model so I went for the old style sub.

I've an Explorer II as well, so as it stands, an old shape GMT, black bezel, as pictured.

I quite like the old shape iconic sub but there are so many fakes around, it kind of puts me off them a bit. I'm not sure why though, it shouldn't really make any difference to the owner if loads of other people are wearing fake ones should it?

Old shape sub for me, or the sea dweller.

Really dislike the new shaped cases on the sub and gmt. As much as I try to like them they just look out of proportion somehow.

Overengineered in extremis (ok, maybe not the old fashioned clasp)
Provenance by the bucket load as a true diver's tool watch/Comex etc
Superceded by the overblinged 116660 DSSD

Out of interest are their any figures of where those sales came from (e.g. poor sales in US, Europe, huge demand in China).
