I'm going to be taking my mate and his Evo for a photoshoot around Aberdeenshire in the next week.

I can think of one or two good locations, but I was wondering if any of you have others to share? If you had any pictures to post along with the locations, that would be brilliant.

Thanks.

Its an Evo VIII. Only a 260, but its got the larger rear wing.

I've taken plenty pictures of cars in the past, but i've never actually gone out on location for a proper photoshoot.
Hopefully i'll have some decent weather and light because I don't have any lights or fancy equipment.

Of course i'll post up plenty of pictures for all to see, and if they turn out well, i'll maybe even give others an oppotrunity to have a free photoshoot in return of a fancy car wink

Not sure if it's still closed though.

It's open smile

There are some very nice looking bits of river/road/bridge/hills etc going along the a93 heading out from Aberdeen to braemar. For big valley shots keep going past braemar down to Blairgowrie. Evo is 4wd so you could always go and see the roads up near the lecht road?

Snow. I think. A gritter crashed while ploughing the road, iirc.

Could go to the old carpark just past torry, beside thegolf course.

Or find a sneaky carpark...

These are both in Aberdeen itself. Only problem with shire ones is keeping the car clean whilst going to and fro from locations.

Could head up to Portsoy/Cullen if your keen for seaside harboury shots?
