flat battery

havnt had the t350 out since november and last week thought i'd start her up but battery was flat.
it wound the windows down but not back up, due to battery drain maybe?
put it on the charge today and electrics come on but wont turn over the engine,or put windows up, am i right in thinking i need to disconnect the battery cables before it will start again?

Eh? She isn't going to start with the battery disconnected.

Get the battery out, recharge it, and put it back in. Then try.
Otherwise, use the Anderson connector underneath to start her.

But eight weeks flat is pretty much 'fked' for a car battery.

disconnect them and attach them again!
it wouldnt be flat for eight weeks, maybe just the last 2/3 weeks.

Can't see any point in that. Even polishing the connections won't do as much as just recharging the battery.

Unsure what you are thinking here.
