Sorry for the late reply John.

I'm finding the car really fun. It is no worse ride than the scooby and pulls well in 5th from low speed, getting 34 mpg it seems so far. Steering weights up lovely when into a bend and you really feel what is going on. I do want to get the wheel wobble checked, but I think its more of tramlining issue that balance, as its better on any good tarmac. Heater works better than what has been posted on forums, and not bad boot either. Do have a nice entry bruise on the thigh apperaing, so need to work on that! Will be good to get you over and have a go see what its feels like to the Elise etc.

Was going to see BackOnTrack tomorrow maybe for a looksee over the car and their opinion on tuning, who have you used on the Lotus?

I use Steve Williams in Maidenhead. Have done ever since he did the insurance repair when the car got shunted. Specialised Paintwork in Reading also have a good reputation (as do Back on Track of course).

Would be good to check the car out sometime, perhaps next weekend? Should be easier to get in than mine; the sills are lower!
