Deep down , we all knew this would happen. This coalition government is really starting to piss me right off.

Are we still giving foreign aid to the likes of India?

FFS!

You know that foreign 'aid' are trade bribes under another name don't you.

Aside from that, hating the coalition for all this is ridiculous, I don't like it anymore than the next man but 13 years of socialist criminals in Downing Street brought us to this point. FFS, you'd think we've had 15 years of this coalition they way people are going on.

If you want to blame someone/people then look at the Labour party, they are directly responisble for this mess, history will show that Gordon Brown was the worst chancellor this county has ever had.

Blah Blah Blah. Same PH rhetoric. I'm far from a LIARbour supporter , but neither is my tounge stuck firmly up CMD's arse. The majority on here can taste his intestinal tract.

Trade bribes for what, call centers? By all means, YES it is correct that a wealthy country should give aid to the worlds poor, but we need to sort ourselves out first right now and decimating the countries defence is NOT the place to start. It is however a easy option.

Mark my words, the coalition have completely mishandled what they had to do and will leave the country open to a return of those who put us here in the first place.

Hearts and minds, it's not too difficult to understand.

I think he meant "FFS Sir"

Happy now?

Interesting image set on that Telegraph page you linked:

On 2009 terms, we had the third largest military budget in the world, behind the US and China.

I expect we may move down the league, on account of there being fk-all money to spend on anything.

Still, should the Chinese choose to invade the UK, they'll have to come cross country with the heavy armour, and I'm counting on the French to stop them - if nothing else, the smell of the place will have Johnny Chinaman turning south toot-sweet and invading Africa (or the bits they haven't bought already) instead.

Exactly... it's Britain's offshore interests that are the real problem.

Do you mean the illegal wars? Or the Empire that we don't have any more?

Afghanistan was a UN endorsed...

We have several dependencies around the globe who we are legally obliged to defend

We also have commitments to defend our merchant fleet from pirates and other unfriendly powers.

Seems sensible, they've got to fk up the NHS soon, which is going to be massively expensive.

Because £100 Billion a year is not expensive enough already? wink
