E9x M3 - USB option?
Discussion
Hi All,
Quick question; on the 2009 and later M3s (the ones with the updated Sat Nav), I see many cars without the USB option. Does this mean that 'non-USB' optioned cars have no interface for an iPhone / memory stick and therefore the only way to load music onto the cars HDD is via the CD player?

I believe you should have a audio jack input in the centre arm rest that lets you play iPods direct into the hi-fi as standard. The USB option just lets you control the device from the steering wheel.
Actually, there is a USB cable that enables you to scroll through your tracks on your ipod / iphone using the USB function. In fact, I still have my old cable from my e90 m3 somewhere.
