Where to get an M-Series geo setup?
Discussion

Can anyone recomend somewhere to get a fast road geometry setup for a classic TVR?
The car in question is a 1600M, so ideally I'm looking for someone with experience of dealing with early(ish) 4-cylinder cars. It's located in East Devon, so it would be good to get something done relatively locally, but we could travel if needs be.

Try Adrian@, I believe it's a house specialty. The car in question is a 1600M, so ideally I'm looking for someone with experience of dealing with early(ish) 4-cylinder cars. It's located in East Devon, so it would be good to get something done relatively locally, but we could travel if needs be.
Thanks, I've dropped him a PM.
Out of interest, has anyone here tracked a 1600M? I gather the uprights or something are different to the 3000s, which leads to a chronic lack of castor? Certainly driving it on the road at 'someone else's car' speeds the steering is disconcertingly light.

Uprights are the same on all "M" series cars and castor is fixed. I have seen so many 1600M,s over the years fitted with the wrong springs, usually 3litre ones which make the front ride very high and increasingly very light as speed increases. A properly set up 1600M handles wonderfully
