Shadow Chrome Wheels

Apart from Longers, has any one tried this finish on their wheels? I'm thinking about getting it done on my Imola's as it might look good against the body colour. Any thoughts/suggestions? Does anyone have any experience of using Pristine Whees in Milton Keynes?

I think they would look great with the body colour of your car although not seen that wheel done in black chrome ( Sure Ian wont mind me saying he copied mine ) Mine and Ian's were done at Melton and the effect was quite deep , it depends how the base coat is applied that gives different finishes . I don't know about Pristine but all the cars i have seen with wheels refinished in this way seem to have been done well .

I'm sure they're ok, but I didn't even consider them when my 18" spiders needed doing. Went straight to http://www.xpressalloys.com/ and was very happy indeed with the results.

My opinion is, this finish looks lovely but then I maybe slightly biased.

They were done probably 12 to 24 months before that photo was taken and still look as good now.
There is a full side view on my profile too.

I used them a few years ago to straighten a D-shaped rear wheel, and they did a good job. I haven't used them for a full refurbishing, but the place looked tidy and well organised and that's where I'd go if I needed it.
