Water ingress

Has anyone noticed that after washing and drying my v8v lifting the tailgate causes water to run striaght into the cars interior.Any comments or just design fault.

Mine is exactly the same !

mine does that when opening it after rainfall too. Some water always runs off the opening tailgate into the boot. Guess it's a design fault.........

Surprises me that they choose to keep the optional umbrella in the boot. Guarantees that if you use it you'll dump water onto that nice alcantara shelf.
