Hi chaps.
Just wondered who everyone is insured with and how much you pay.

We have a Cooper S and last year we paid £475. Now moved house and its over £900 with current insurer.

Managed to get it down to £600 and I'm trying a few others later.

Flux were miles out last year by the way but I will try them again.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Swiftcover for last three years, including a relocation.

Their renewals are always cheaper than comparison sites. I'm going to challenge the next renewal however.

Paid just over £400 last year with Admiral multicar.

Flux were way, way out.

We were with aviva last yr and it was 400 on the nose (still more than our preclude r56!) but renewal was a joke at 670. We switched to Liverpool Victoria and that was 470 in the end fully comp

No idea to be honest! I'm 23, look at the 2 cars in 'My Garage', together the insurance totals just less than £2k per year for up to 20k miles. The other one has 5 years No Claims on it, but not done via a MultiCar policy as surprisingly that saves absolutely nothing.

Be aware that Admiral/Elephant/Bell class the Chilli pack and any other factory fitted optional extras as 'modifications' which need to be declared and bump up the initially quoted price considerably.

I've just renewed and went with First Direct/Equity Group... £387 for a 22y/o on an R56 Cooper, including third party cover on any vehicle.

You're right, went up £105, that's a little bit of a joke!

They also wanted an extra £120 on a £400 policy because one of my named drivers had a non-fault accident in another vehicle last month. Jokers.
