I'm wondering if someone on here can help me, I turn 21 in march and will have been in my apprenticeship a year in march also, I was told that if i was over 19 and had been in an apprenticeship a year that I was entitled to minimum wage can anyone tell me if this is true or not?

I'm on a suzuki training course and I'm from Scotland, I don't know if that makes any difference or not

any help would be majorly appreciated!

Current legislation says you would be entitled to NMW after the 1st year of your apprentiship if you are 19 or over. That is 4.92 per hour for 19-20 year olds and 5.93 for anyone 21+.
