Brake Master Cylinder Mounting

My TVR was a bit butchered when I bought it 8+ years ago; there are many things I do not know how original was so when I see something that doesn't make engineering since I usually dig around and find indications of a prior owner getting "creative".
I'm contemplating one of these situations right now in that I don't know how the mater cylinder should be mounted. The pedal assembly is out of a TR6 and now that I have sourced one that is not modified with a cable clutch (I'm returning to a hyd clutch) I'm also re-installing a vacuum brake booster. The master cylinder is at a significant up angle. Did TVR install a wedge between the firewall and the brake booster to minimize this angle? If so what is the thickness of the wedge at the top? What material was it made from?

OP going back you saying that you have a TR6 pedal box, you will need to pack and space it correctly..modify it to mimic the TVR item as such, to get it to fit correctly, the shell includes a ply board brace and the correct spacers to position it correctly to the front face of the foot well.

PS to convert a TVR pedal box back to fluid would of meant cutting the lever arm off the top of the pedal (and not even that if you didn't want to!) and opening the 3 holes to accept the master cylinder and connecting it up...a 10 min job....

Hi Adrian, thank you for pointing out the needed modifications; I looked at the two pedal boxes more closely after reading your post. The unit I pulled out of the TVR was a TR6 box also; but I can see the minor mods I will have to do to make this work correctly.
