And to be fair, I don't use it daily as I get the tube to work.
So more of a shopping car and fun way to ride around.
More so than the M3 anyway

You would leave an R35 in a Tesco car park with all those trolleys!

I appear to have developed an inability to read and type properly today - I am going back to bed.

A friend bought an R33 GTR. Then he decided to go to uni and study. He has somehow managed to afford to take the car with him (think he's working part time also) and he uses it every day, driving to and from uni during the week, and then driving back to his parents' place at the end of term. He had an issue where he parked it in Wimbledon I think and came back to find some kids jumping on the roof of it?!? Which would always be my worry owning such a nice car.. Oh, he doesn't drink at all either, so that's probably why he can afford the petrol costs wink

My R33 GTR doesnt get used everyday its very much a weekend toy.

But if you can afford to run it and dont mind parking it up in crowded places then i dont see why its a problem. Personally i would never do that and as people have already said it only takes one jealous person to swing there door into it or key it etc.

Here mine, I use it as often as I can to the shops, but mostly to the petrol station. It's been lowered and the suspension upgraded, so its a bit jaw shattering over all the pot holes at the moment. It does bring a big grin on though every time I drive it. I say go for it.

I used to commute through SW London stop-start traffic in a 650bhp R32 GTR with a triple plate clutch. I also give training advice to Chuck Norris but that's neither here nor there.

On how to use powerpoint? (or did you mean different training?)
wink

Mine is currently stupidly low (getting a standard front splitter) and incredibly stiff suspension (so potholes are a nightmare) and painfully loud (decat, 3.5in pipe, muffler with 5in tip you could live inside). Just bought an inline muffler to try and shut it up a bit.

If I can make it sufficiently quiet and allow it to get over speed bumps, I'll use it as a daily.

My only concern would be speed bumps, then. The rest was irrelevant to me.

hehe and hehe

Ah, well, if SWMBO orders you to make it quiet then fair enough. And if you've been taking full advantage of her OXO tower and induced haemorrhoids then I appreciate she will insist on a softer suspension.

Mine got used every day, so did both of my R32s. Even with big power they're very useable, provided you pick the right parts and take some time to work out a good setup.

Is he;

A) A mature student
B) an owner of a wealthy parents
C) If not A), A normal guy daft enough to pay the insurance

Having just looked at insurance on an R33 GTST - not a GTR, the prices are insane!
