Is this a good price? My partner works for Audi, and they do the TT for 270 a month. It's the base 211bhp FWD model.

Is this a good price? What should I be aware of when leasing? Do they often sting you at the end for every small scratch?

Very good price, I'd be happy with that.

It's usually pretty hard to beat a car employers lease scheme..

You'd lose more than £3k in depreciation alone, surely, so very good price.

Wouldn't be available to the public, VW Audi Group UK staff members only.

Are there any up front and end costs - What costs are included - servicing, tax, etc?

Tax is included for 12 months. You don't pay to service it. You just pay the 270 a month and that's it I believe.

Va1o is right, it's an internal VAG thing only.

I sell leasing.

That's a bargain deal, go for it.

So - no servicing, no up front costs, no after costs and only £270 a month. With only insurance to get?

You'd be mad to not...

If that's the same scheme my friend who works for VAG is on. Then you'll pay for tyres and any repairs at the end of the 6 months/6k miles.

She literally orders a new car as she picks one up, so that it's ready when her 6 months is up. Incredibly good scheme if it's the same thing.

No RS models though.

Check if it has to be insured through VW insurance.

If they don't like your profile it could cost a lot.

It's a 1 year, 12,000 mile lease. We're not clear yet if tyres would need to be replaced if we handed the car back with barely any tread left.

It doesn't have to be insured with VAG.

I'm a bit cautious though, as I've never had a lease car before. I wouldn't want to get stung with charges at the end, for example.

If your partner works for them, I'm sure it'd be very quick and easy to find out the score on hidden charges etc?

It sounds like a ridiculously good deal, get off here and get your pen out biggrin

Are you sure it doesn't include insurance - my neighbour had a Vauxhall through their scheme and it's included with his.

All the manufacturers do these deals. Ford was offereing employees Kugas for £100/mth last year.

Can't your other half check with colleagues? VAG are notorious for whacking on end-of-lease charges though. They could be better, or worse, on employees cars.

It definitely doesn't include insurance; unfortunately!

I'm going to ask her to check, but to be honest am still put off a bit by leasing rather than owning.
