tinting headlamps

anyone done a light tint on the front? any particular products that people could recommendend?

Ummm, tinting to make the headlamps on a TVR *worse* ?! I remember the headlamps on my old Griff were bl**dy awful, despite being rewired, having brighter bulbs, and new reflectors - I was sure the factory tinted perspex covers had a major part to do with that.

You may also be in a grey legal position (pardon the pun). UK law definitely states that your lamps have to be white or yellow, but I believe it also prohibits placing anything in front of the light which would reduce the light output. It might get annoying being stopped by the police on this point, even if you could successfully argue that they're actually legal.

Anyway, I'm sure someone will be along in a mo with a more constructive answer

The headlamps look good as they are, and as above you'd be mad to make them even less effective.
