Best place to sell wheels?

Hi All

Has anyone had any joy selling wheels on eBay and the like?

I've bought some replacement wheels for my car, but there are so many sets on eBay that it seems like they would just get lost!

I know you have to pay on a lot of enthusiast forums to access the "traders" sections, so was just wondering if anyone had any experience of selling second hand wheels on eBay/Gumtree etc and got any interest in them?

PS - also do you think its best to sell as a set, or try and list individually to try and market to people who are looking for single wheels, i.e. to replace one really damaged one?

I`d say eBay and forums, eBay has so many sellers because there is so many buyers, dont worry about things being lost, just make sure you have a good advert with a good description and decent photos

Thanks, will give them a try before i pay to sign up to any specific model forums or anything! I suppose at least eBay are cheap to list on if it doesn't sell!

Yes, and all went well via ebay.
Good photos help. Point out any flaws (even minor). Shipping can be quiet cheap, but I offered 50 mile delivery round trip for cost of fuel which worked better for my buyer.

Gumtree is also good (owned by ebay...)
