I believe they did do that.

But I thought engine coffee tables were being done before that, so may not be the exact one.

Im pretty sure they kept the engine after it was changed into a table. This was in 2004 while their props and everything burnt down in 2007 so I doubt that would be it.

Plus if that was the top gear one the title would read 'TOP GEAR engine table TOP GEAR Clarkson'
