Need new TVR specialist (Essex)

I've just found out that Leven in Basildon have closed. Absolutely gutted because they always did such a fantastic job.

I now have to find a new specialist in the east London/Essex area.

Can anyone recommend someone?

I either usually use the old TVR Centre who are now called Bespoke performance in Hertford or Taylor TVR in Kent. Can't go wrong with either really, both are priced around the same but from their reccomendations on here you can't really go wrong with either.

I was told that they received an offer they couldn't refuse and decided to split the business into the servicing side and the parts side. Parts was bought out but no-one wanted the workshop.

At least that's what the new owners told me.

I've booked it in with Taylor TVR now based on some of the comments I found on here so we'll see how that goes.

Dan Taylor did a cracking job on Deano's Tuscan challenge car.
No Techy probs (ever that I can remember in 4 years) and always beautifully turned out.
...Often at very short notice!

Yes, absolutely correct. Silver was referring to Leven and not Bespoke Performance (The TVR Centre). I have clarified this with him and send my apologies.
Whilst I can comment on Bespoke Performance I have no knowledge about Leven.

They may well be helpful and enthusiastic, but after my last experience of work undertaken, I will not be returning.

Im surprised you weren't happy with their service.. When i used them for the first time they found faults which two other "bigger" names missed and bent over backwards to ensure i had my car back in time for a holiday i had planned. Can't recommend them enough.

It wasn't the service as much as the quality of the paintwork - I reckon I could have done better, and I'm not a painter.
