CLK55 AMG - 2004+
Discussion
Having looked on google it appears that there is a revised CLK55 AMG made from 2004 - 2006, which included the updated interior etc.. Does anyone know where there all hiding!!
Been scouring the web for a coupe but all i get is the old model 2003 then it jumps to CLK 63 at £27k!
Where are they?

OP was asking about CLK
and if you bothered to read to the end, you'd appreciate that angusc43's reply is about CLKs, too.Four Litre said:
Correct me if I'm wrong but Coupes do from late 2004 onwards. There was one a few months back but first one I've seen. All Convertibles have twin pipes on one side throughout the range.
Would of bought the one I saw but it was 70+k miles so bit on the high side for me.
The CL55 has 4 pipes - if it is the later facelift supercharged engine:Would of bought the one I saw but it was 70+k miles so bit on the high side for me.

The CLK55 always had just 2 -

The CLK63 has 4 pipes -

And you appear to be right in a way as the CLK63 cab has only 2 it appears -

I did see that. I was just not sure of the relevance of the C discussion. They didn't make a clk43. They didnt make a clk32 but they did a c32. I would guess there were a lot more clk55 made than c55.
My point was that the V8-engined C Class cars sold in very small numbers. Even if the CLK 55 AMG outsold the C 55 AMG 4:1 there would still only be 400. That's all. Just trying to be helpful.angusc43 said:

Ok sir understood. I am actually surprised at that 100 number. It is extremely low. Thinking about it I have only seen one or two physical c55 in my lifetime. The older clk55 were much more common and the c32 also.
Yes, agree on all points. Good luck in your search - great cars - worth searching for one.
BTW I came up against a simliar problem looking for my E500 211 Estate. Rare as hens teeth.
