Anyone on 19's?

If you are, what width wheels are you running front and back? What size tyres? What offset front and back?

What's the PCD for a Cerbera?

Did you need to modify arches/bump stops? Was there an improvement or deterioration in handling?

So many questions, but I'm sure answers will be forthcoming!!

Last of all, any wheel suggestions?

when i first got mine it came on 19s. swapped them back to 17 after shredding 2 tires on normal road driving, and the rides a lot better now. my advise don't do it.

It's a Cerbera, what you want are wheels that enable the car to do the job it was designed to do, 19" wheels will only impress the Chavs who know feck all about cars, we'll just laugh at you.

I have 19s on mine and have no issues with them. My arches are modified to allow them to fit but the 18s I run with the larger profile tyre are actually bigger than the 19s. Don't use them for any track work but that's why I have 2 sets of wheels.

Well each to their own I guess, but Ive driven a Cerb with 19" and it was awful. To keep the gearing correct you need ultra low profile tyres, and they just don't work. They may look pretty, but thats not the point on a cerb is it?

Well, yes actually. Apart from anything else, it is a good looking car.

I'll only fit 19's if they are an improvement on the 18's I have.

No real difference between my 18s and 19s.

I'd like to try the 16s but they won't fit over the front calipers.

Personally I would keep the 18s and use the money elsewhere, I don't think there is much to be gained with 19s apart from making the car look Chavvy!!It certainly aint going to drive any better.

May not be a popular suggestion but I don't see the point in going as high as 18" unless it's for the track. I sold the 18" SP12s that were on mine when I bought it as the original 17" RL7s gave a much better ride and make for better progress on poor surfaces. I'd hate to think what 19s would be like on normal roads.

If you wanna do it - do it I say. I think the 19's on Ridds look v.nice, i've driven a Cerb on 19's and 3 on 18's 2 on 16's 1 on 17's

19's and 18's not much in it... all Cerbs are very different. the 3 i've owned were and are completely different to drive.

To Clarify......19" wheels may make the car look a bit better, and on a nice smooth race track it may drive just a little bit better. But on our wonderful UK roads you'll soon have buckled wheels and you'll be cursing the crap turning circle. The Cerb is a stunning looking car, it doesn't need a set of flash wheels like a run of the mill car does, I can think of far better ways to spend £2000 on a Cerbera. But it's your money, I'm just giving practical advice, not a subjective opinion.

PS - It's like buying Raquel Welch a new pair of Diamond Earings - No one will really notice them

Potholes, yeah you have a point there but no worse than factory fit Spiders with too low profile front tyres. As for the turning circle, it's no different to standard (maybe even better) as I didn't have rack stops with the 19s on.

Those cost just a shade over £1k with tyres.
