He should have tried some strepsils if he was feeling a little hoarse

Getting caught like that must be pretty embarrassing, I imagine he thought 'I'm having a mare'.

Was he giving the horse one or was it a "Mr Hands" situation?

When interviewed by the police it turned out to be a tragic misreading of Winston Churchill's quote

"There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man."

There were roumers (sp?) of this happening to a local farm in this area many years ago.
An orange box/crate left in the corner of the field most mornings and the farmer did have his suspicions about some deed taking place.
The farmer stayed up most nights waiting but nothing happened. Then one night he caught a glimpse of a shifty looking shadow, shouted and gave chase. As per usual when he got there the bloke had gone.

Unfortunately for the chap in question there was one clue left behind. His underpants. No DNA etc in the 80s but the bloke was caught and confessed.
How? You ask yourself. Well, the chap was..how do I put this..not the brightest of young men and his mother had sown a name label on the inside! This story was THE local scandal for quite a number of months.

The scariest thing about all this is I knew a woman who had met this chap years later and I kept wondering why the name A****** ******* rung a bell and then it hit me.

It was quite hard to look him in the eye or not make some horsey joke.

Apparently he's going to have to see a psychiatrist, he's apparently being feeling a little unstable

I caught a bloke doing exactly this to a horse.
He went 'not guilty'.
I ended up describing a man wking a horse for the benefit of the bench.
( at least I didn't have to demonstrate on the usher)
