Well 1 month into ownership all's going well so far! Great little car which for me has lived up to all the review's so far. She's an 08, well enough specced with leather, bluetooth, ipod etc and 16k miles. Bought it from the local bmw main dealer for 17.5k at christmas with a years tax...proper performance bargain!
First thing to go were the run flats, normal tyres are so much better on the greasy winter roads. Due to the weather I've been mostly using the trusty c900 but first impressions are of a good simple honest car in which the engine dominates the driving experience....there's been so much written I don't need to go on about it but it really is a masterpiece and i'm very much looking forward to putting it against my mate's e46 m3. The 6 pot brakes also do their job very well.
Oh and people will either love or hate the 116i badge I've fitted, people who know their bmw's will of course know a 116i was never available in coupe form but for the other 99.9% it makes for a good q car for the summer!

My current ideal dream car that I would love to own in 2/3 years' time, love them! Have to say if i'm honest, not my choice of colour, but there are worse colours out there, plus IMO it's got the ideal interior leather/trim combo! And i'd take mine WITH the 116i badge please! (sucker for q-cars) 
lovely car... even with the 135i badge its still a q car specially mapped as a lot of average road goers havent a clue how much power it has some people dont even know what the number significance is of the badge in regards to engine power/size.
I have a mazda 3 mps which is even more of a qcar currently getting forged rods installed and hopefully will be running 400bhp soon....

Are you running the Bmw Performance Big brake kit ?.....If so they're fantastic Brakes (verysideways) has the Bmw Big brake kit on his 130i.
They are standard on these as far as I know, they are just black not greeny yellow and without the graphics.Shame the 'i' on the 116 badge is spaced wrong, I like it though!
