2.5 Exhaust details please
Discussion
Hi guys,
If I was to have all the exhaust pipe work from a 3r....
the 3 pipes, (y shape, short one and longer straightish one)
the backbox
the tails
would it be a straight bolt on job with no modification to my manifold on my 2.5 to create exactly the same configuration. I know i will get no power gains with putting this exhaust on, its all just for look, so i shouldnt need any remap or anything either?
Thanks
Steve

Hi bondy,
Was there much cutting or anything to be done then when u did it.
I have the 3r backbox and tail pipes u c, I have brought it to a few places here in northern ireland and they just aren't that interested in doing it without the rest of the pipework off the turbo. So I was thinking if I could get the hold of the other 3 pipes on the 3r then it might be an easy job?
Thanks

You shouldn't need to cut anything but when you look on some cars a dent has been made in the exhaust as the front turbo pipe comes round to join the box.
My garage cut mine and reweleded it back to get the hole thing straighter. then the turbos needed a refurb and I did the H&S route.
