Anyone recommend a good jewellers in the Bournemouth/Ringwood/Christchurch area for repairs? My wife's engagement ring needs the tips of the claws on the mounts re-tipping.

It's a not inexpensive ring (oh, the days of disposable income.....) so I'm looking for a jeweller that specialises in in the higher end.

TIA

He's called JS Jewellers i believe. Im not a big fan of his work but then again he might not be a fan of mine.

Bring your ring down to the shop mate and i'll take a look. Re-tipping is a big part of our work so no issues there. PH rates obviously apply. ;-0

No worries mate, my toes are untrampled. You are more than welcome to recommend other buisnesses on here. To be honest and in my opinion he is working at the lower end of the qualty spectrum wheras I work for the high end market. I manufacture and repair for some of the biggest names in England, and am the primary repairer for nearly all the big names in Bournemouth. Joe, the boss has been doing it for 48 years and is the best in the trade. Everything is done by hand with the finest materials. I've learnt from the best and our client base is our evidence.

Ill come to you next time. We were recomended to a person in Staines (near to where the outlaws live), but we went there one day to discuss the wedding rings and he had upped and left a month previous.

We only used the place in Poole as a last resort as he came up reasonable for what we wanted
