High - Im considering having carbon dashboard trim panels retrofitted on 2010 E90. They were not on options list but Im now told by dealer they are available. Has any body done this and if so what price quoted. Also concerned whether dash will rattle and squeak if disturbed ?

Thanks JBTCO they must be the ones. I would still be interested to hear if anybody has retrofitted these.

Hiya

Judging from the prices of retrofit genuine Carbon Fibre trim sets from the likes of high end BMW tuners like Ac Schnitzer and Hartge I'd say you'd be easily looking at £1200+ for a set if not more. The quality will be absolutley 100% of that you'll have zero issues. If the price tag is ok for you, then go ahead and purchase, you won't regret the change in look that's for sure!

If you find a set from other aftermarket suppliers that also very high quality, I'd expect them around the £1000 mark - Schmiedmann do a set for £1032 + delivery from Denmark.

Else, you could find a UK based company to do a carbon fibre wrap of either your existing pieces or perhaps a set of basic wood trims you may perhaps buy off ebay out of a spare parts car. I'd estimate a good job using this method would be around the £400-500 range.

Cheers, Dennis!
