MB SL500

Been lurking for ages and really enjoy looking at all the different shades of motoring addiction they we all suffer from. Here is my SL500, they dont seem to come up on Readers Cars and probably not in this colour!

Can't quite rememberthe paint code at present, but my father had a 300CE in a similar colour, essentially Turquoise

Liking the colour not sure about the wheels tho ....each to the thir own tho

The paint is Vivianite. The 16" wheels leave me slightly cold and am looking at replacing with either 17's or 18's in a AMG style. The car came with some 17" split rims as freebies but they are for a W128 E Class and wont fit so have been dropped onto Fleabay to top up the wheel fund

Very attractive, understated and elegant. This is what Mercedes are best at IMO, and I like the colour too.

Is that the one that was on autotrader and ebay before Christmas?

Stunning. I like the wheels, they look very understanded. However, the larger five spokes which came on the final models would look great.

Dont know if it was on ebay but I spotted it on Autotrader and only 20 miles from me. There is another one of the same year and colour but wearing aftermarket alloys also on Autotrader.

Aah, vivanite green. Very rare colour, especially on the convertibles; I've seen 3 SLKs (including our own), but never an SL in this colour.
We had an SLK in this colour, until some inattentive woman rammed into the back of it at a pedestrian crossing...
