We live in a modern bungalow with a large open plan living dining room, underfloor heating and relatively high ceilings (10ft). Now, we need ventilation without cooling the house too much and we need a way of getting all the heat that's risen to the ceiling back down to where we're sitting!
I've heard about D-erv, HVAC, HR but don't really have a clue.

TIA

There are others as well.

The design of the system is at least as important as the hardware.

Just done some measurements. There's a 5 degree C difference between 1M from floor and 2.5M from floor. Need to get this heat back down!

Buy some tennis umpires' chairs. Or extend the legs of your existing suite by 5 feet. Hope this helps!

Plantation style ceiling fan or two might work. Or failing that a punkah wallah?

I've fixed it. I merely let the log burner die down and therefore allow the underfloor heating to take over. Now evenly warm at all levels! cloud9
